Home Conference

  • Marion First Apostolic Church 923 North Bentley Street Marion, IL, 62959 United States (map)

The mission of the Home Conference is simple. We want to see healthy homes grow in Southern Illinois. Whether you’re married, single, a new parent, an empty-nester, a foster parent, a grandparent or kids aren’t part of your story yet this conference is for you. It’s never too early, nor too late to have a healthy home.

Students ages 5-15 will participate in separate sessions with our Rooted Youth Leaders. This will include a fun and interactive sessions involving games, teaching and prayer.

About Darin

Darin was born with a unique gift of having only one hand and it has helped him see life from a different perspective than most. As we are all aware, life is full of challenges and how we approach those challenges determines the direction and success of our lives. Darin has lived his life facing multiple challenges, and possesses an attitude that declares ‘nothing is impossible if you just try.’
In 2008 Darin started a Motivational Business called “Let Me Give You A Hand” and has been fortunate enough to speak to thousands of young people and adults across the nation.

His message of overcoming and embracing who we are while facing the many challenges that come against us, has resonated with audiences worldwide.  Being born the way he was has allowed him the ability to relate to those struggling with their identity, helping them create an attitude of success in their life. Darin is an advocate for anyone who is facing the struggles of life and is needing a message that will help them overcome!

Darin has spoken nationally and internationally, continuing to provide inspiration and direction for thousands.  In 1993 he married the love of his life and together they have raised 3 amazing kids that still think having a dad with one arm is kind of cool!
